PCT Hiking Watch Face for Instinct 2 Solar (v5)

Low energy use watch face for thru-hiking - if you've depleted battery with Navigation and/or Activities and aren't due for resupply or charging soon. Will slowly recharge watch (0.5%/hr.) unless under tree cover.

Since mileage and speed are based on steps (pedometer,) not gps, be sure your stride is accurate (I calculate manually in Garmin Connect app.)

Feet Climbed / Speed (mph) (calculated over the last 30 seconds you've been walking,)

Time /  Moon Phase / Countdown to Next Event (sunrise or set)

Battery Icon / Temperature (watch sensor - highly inaccurate unless watch removed from wrist or worn over jacket sleeve.) 

Solar Efficiency  /  Battery % Value  /  Battery Remaining Time (takes many minutes to show up when watch face first installed, and hours to recalculate when you adjust settings)

Sunrise Time  /  Sunset Time

Day of Week  / Date

v5 fixes altitude gain (which had been given in meters) to read in feet.
