Credit for the design shape goes to matteo dini - this is one of his designs but has been modified to my own taste - but credit to the design goes to him.

this watch face was created using photoshop and http://garmin.watchfacebuilder.com

this is an article recently written by joshua who is the mastermind behind the builder.

Watch Face Builder website (https://garmin.watchfacebuilder.com)

Hi I’m Josh—I run, cycle, and swim. A few years ago, I bought my first Garmin watch after not being happy with the battery life of my Apple Watch. Since then, I’ve logged 1300+ hours of workouts totaling 9200+ miles using my Garmin watches so far.

I typically train with a group of people and one day I started developing watch faces for us to use. During that time I discovered that different people have different tastes, so I built this tool called Watch Face Builder so my buddies could customize their own watch face. It’s built so anyone can craft their own personal watch face right through a web browser.

The tool is pretty powerful—you can start from scratch or select from a whole bunch of watch faces shared by other users and then add or remove features. You can move objects around with drag-and-drop as well as upload your own images and fonts. After you’re done, you can transfer the watch face to your watch and enjoy looking at it every time you raise your wrist.

The website also has a showcase of what other users have created on Watch Face Builder. As of today (7/25/2023), there are over 6,200 user-created watch faces you can download to your watch to try. Here are some pretty fantastic examples.

Watch Face Builder is a very powerful tool that you can use for free, but I just recently launched a paid subscription if you'd like to support me and the tool’s future development. The subscription removes ads and unlocks a few extra options including exporting to the IQ store and running the design in the Garmin simulator. The reason why this is a subscription is because some of these features had high on-going costs, and required me to build and manage a completely separate server to compile the necessary code and generate these previews. More premium features will be coming to paid subscribers in the future.

I’d love to see what everyone can create with the tool. You can find me at r/watchfacebuilder if you want to share your design, request a feature, or submit a bug you found.
